ELT on Instagram

sporting some serious neck swag

Harlow aka The Prince decided that our bed was now his bed and is refusing to sleep in his own snuggly cat bed.  Such a diva - don't know where he gets it from!!

currently crushing on Rita Ora - love this lady, who else could wear a latex mini skirt and hi tops and look so damn sexy and fly!?  Plus her album has FINALLY dropped and it is flipping fantastic
ELT favourite tracks - Love and Hate (track 7), Fall In Love (track 9)

my lovely new "Olivia" SpikeThePunch necklace beautifully wrapped and with a hand written note - it's the little touches that make all the difference

just peachy

OP gracing the cover of InStyle magazine; she can't put a stylish foot wrong IMHO
How cute are these mini Essie polishes that I found on eBay "Meet Me At Sunset" and "Smooth Sailing"

Tuesday's Talons

Obsessed with this nail polish from TopShop's collaboration with designer Louise Gray

other fingers - Rimmel "Aqua Cool" with a slick of Saffron silver glitter on my second finger.

Instagram Weekend

Morning Made-ons...hope you all had a fun filled Bank Holiday and are fit and well this Tuesday :-)

Here's a taster of what I got up to this weekend.
Love ELT xo

After my post on Friday of the gorgeous bedside table I decided I'd have a go at "sprucing my area!!" Here is the result - what do you reckon?
I picked out a few of the same brand nail polishes with pretty lids (Chanel and TopShop) and displayed them in an empty Mulberry box.  I put one of our Vera Wang candle sticks to good use; rather than it being hidden away in a box in the kitchen.  From my bookshelf I picked out two Audrey Hepburn books.  An old school polaroid of me and Mr ETM.  Our favourite wedding card with the date of our wedding on and the fabulous handmade personalised notebook gifted to me by the amazing Sew Lulu.  Ooh and two bedtime essentials - pot of eye serum and hand cream!

ready for a trip to Butterfly World with Mr ETM and the nephew
top - TopShop, trousers - H&M, trainers - ASOS

Bank Holiday lunch and drinks with some lovely friends
top - TopShop, jeans - H&M, shoes - Marks & Spencer, clutch - River Island

jacket - H&M, necklace - TopShop

arm candy
claw - ASOS
cuff - Balenciaga
bangle - House of Harlow

Monday afternoon - fashion research on the internet and nail painting with this fab Models Own "Ibiza Mix" glitter polish

Can't Live Without Skincare Product

I have been using Chanel's Hydra Gel Cream for three years now (they recently re launched the line with new ingredients) and I can honestly say that for me personally, it is the best moisturiser I've used .... and believe me, I've tried a HECK OF A LOT of different ones over the years!

Aesthetically it's very pleasing; the jar looks pretty in your bathroom cabinet, and it comes with a cute little application spatular.  When you open the tub you are greeted by a Tiffany duck egg blue gel cream that smells so fresh and almost exudes a "healthy" vibe.

But this product goes far deeper than looks, it hydrates and protects your skin brilliantly.

Ingredients include Camellia alba extract (the iconic Chanel flower) and Blue Ginger that feed your thirsty skin.  The gel cream is very light - use sparingly, a little goes a long way.

After a few days you will begin to see and feel your skin coming to life - looking brighter and plumper.  The formulation is non greasy so it makes a fantastice base for foundation.  No need to wait ten minutes before putting your makeup on.

Although the initial shelling out of £50 sounds steep, a jar will last you 5-6 months.  No more £10 here and there on trying out different high street brands, which over a year I'm sure would probably tot up to over £100.

Remember - you only get one face, so love it and look after it as best you can, from as young an age as you can.

Fluro Friday

Before the British summer well and truly bids us farewell I'd love to have the chance to wear these shorts.

Sequins + Fluorescent = Fabulous

I could totally imagine Beyonce rocking these with a fitted white t-shirt, sky scraper nude daffodil Louboutins and a heap of Sascha Fierce attitude!
TopShop £60

Get Cuffed

I love chunky, bright coloured jewellery and this River Island number ticks both these boxes perfectly.  And at £18, its something of a bargain.

Wear with jeans and a plain white tee or go glam and wear it with this red TopShop dress.

Neon POP

Neon clothing and accessories make me happy!  A pop of colour (or for those of you that are more daring - head to toe neon) can really brighten your own mood and the mood of those around you.

Life is far too short for a wardrobe of browns and blacks; if you buy one thing this month, make it something bright.  Wear it and watch your mood life :)

Start off small - maybe a slick of Barbie pink nail polish, or a coral lipstick, or a multicoloured friendship bracelet and work your way up to a luminous vest / dress!  Go on, I dare ya :)

Here are some ideas taken from my neon inspiration board.........

Monday Evening.....

This evening I am looking forward to some post weekend relaxing and pampering.

I'm going to kick proceedings off with an epsom salt bath - great for stress relief and relieving muscle cramps.  Whilst I'm laying in the bath (watching an episode of Poirot on the laptop!)  I'll use a facial exfoliator and face mask to remove all the impurities on my skin from a weekend spent in the city.

When I get out of the bath I'll moisturise head to toe with a body butter, spending a good ten minutes massaging it in (circular motions, towards the heart).

Then manicure time....I'm thinking of cracking open a bottle of sparkly polish, why the heck not eh!
And finally i'll grab a liquid eye mask out of the fridge and lye back on the sofa with it on whilst I wait for my nail polish to dry.

Happy Days! xo

Four Words

Look at the smiley face below, it is made up of a variety of words and random letters. The first four words you see when looking at the image describe you!

My words were happy, patient, passionate, sweet

I Dream of Celine

Never has a bag stirred such wanton desire in my stomach!  I've been pawing over images of the Celine Luggage Tote for months now, dreaming of owning one of my very own.  Until that day (ie. probably never!) I will just settle for looking at other peoples "babies."

What do you reckon Made-on's, is this a bag for life?
