It's a Cat's Life!

Let me introduce to Choupette - Karl Lagerfeld's beloved Siamese pussy cat.  Possibly the most pampered kitty kat that ever did live.

"She has an attitude like a princess," Lagerfeld says.

"She doesn't like to eat on the floor, so I have to put the food on the table. Her dishes are by Goyard. She has one for water, one for her little croquette, and one for her pâté. You have to serve everything, and she makes a choice," he says.

If that doesn't sound like enough pampering, wait for it - Choupette (meaning sweetie in French) also has two maids, who see to her every need and write up notes of her behaviour and what she's done that day!

I thought our cat Harlow (aka The Prince) was spoilt, but Lagerfeld takes it to a whole new level.  Which just makes me love the man even more!

OMG imagine if Choupette and Harlow got together, just think of the beautiful fashion kitties they would make :-)

Only 2 more sleeps til I go on holiday....can't bloody wait!!!

Yesterday I went and had my HD brows done and my lashes tinted and permed at Bonita B's studio in Harrogate.

Bonita is a whizz with all things makeup and beauty - and an absolute gem of a lady.

This is how they look au natural - no mascara or eyeshadow.

I'm really pleased with the results - I have really light eyelashes and feel "naked" without mascara. 

But thanks to this treatment I will be able to go without my mascara wand on the beach this year.

I LOVE sunglasses, the bigger the better in my opinion. 

I'm off on my jollies in 10 days (whoooo!) and I've decided that I neeeed a pair of cat's eye glasses - they just look so glam and Joan Collins-esque...perfect eyewear for sipping cocktails at the beach bar.

Tuesday

Tuesday's can be a bit of a "bleugh" day - tiredenss from the weekend has usually fully kicked in by today and the following weekend feels like a lifetime away.

Thank goodness for Grazia - my Tuesday saviour.  Off I pop to the newsagents every Tuesday lunchtime and settle down at my desk with my packed lunch (parsnip, apple and elderflower soup today if you're interested) and paw through the pages of fashion, beauty and of course the CoL (Column of Lust) list. 

This week's lunchtime was made all the happier by the fact that I had coincidentally matched my nail polish to the magazine's cover - it's the simple things in life :-)
